“E is 20, she has a severe learning disability, autism and PACS1. E never enjoyed school, the demands put on her makes her shut down, go mute, not be herself and therefore not reaching her potential. We tried 3 independent carers, but by no fault of their own E didn’t gel with them. We needed someone who would accept E for who she is, someone with knowledge around those with additional needs, someone who would listen to us as parents and who would work with us as a family, E’s needs are unique, she needs, and thrives, with a unique intervention. As soon as we saw Connor we knew he would be the person to fit in with our family, he is fun, personal but professional, he’s honest, is perceptive, listens to what we know works and follows through with what we have discussed, he goes with the flow, you can tell he wants the absolute best for his clients and his heart is in the job.”
